Carla Reynoso, DNP, FNP-BC

Carla Reynoso began her nursing career in 2007 and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University. She went on to become a nurse practitioner and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree also from George Mason University in 2021.
Before joining Carient Heart and Vascular, Ms. Reynoso spent four years specializing in Cardiology, where she provided comprehensive care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions. Her clinical expertise includes patient evaluation, chronic disease management, preventive cardiac health, and the recognition and management of Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Valvular Disorders, and Arrhythmias.
As a nurse practitioner, Ms. Reynoso strives to improve good quality of life in her patients by promoting healthy habits that reduce the risk of heart disease. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to improve and maintain their heart health. By emphasizing prevention through lifestyle modification, education, and collaboration with her patients and the multidisciplinary cardiology team, Ms. Reynoso works to help patients achieve long-term cardiovascular wellness.
Ms. Reynoso is fluent in Spanish and values the opportunity to provide culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
Outside of work, Ms. Reynoso enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and exploring new places.
