Fariha Azam, PA-C

Fariha Azam, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant at Carient Heart & Vascular. She earned her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from James Madison University and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Virginia, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

Prior to PA school, Fariha gained valuable healthcare experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including working as a Medical Assistant at Carient Heart & Vascular, where she developed a strong foundation in cardiovascular care.

Fariha developed a strong interest in cardiology during her training and is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care that respects each individual’s background, experiences, and goals. Returning to Carient in her role as a Physician Assistant is especially meaningful to her.
In her free time, Fariha enjoys traveling, trying different cuisines, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
